Lee Crossley
Lee created both courses, for engineers and for business teams, and teaches every session live. He is a director and engineer at San Digital and an author of Production-Grade AI.
The courses come from delivery work
Lee has worked in hands-on engineering, consultancy and technology leadership. He has delivered hundreds of software projects and worked as a start-up CTO. In larger organisations, his engineering governance roles carried accountability for the technical output of thousands of people.
He now advises large organisations on using AI in production software delivery. His work on Production-Grade AI covers the controls, evidence and engineering judgement needed after a promising demonstration.
Both courses grew out of that experience. They concentrate on deciding what a task means, setting limits, checking claims and changing course when the evidence demands it. And the business course applies the same rules to documents, data and communications, because the failure modes are the same.
You start with a prepared task: a small software service on the engineering course, or a set of documents on the business course. There are gaps to question and claims to check, so you have to make decisions as you go.

Lee does not take the keyboard
Lee does not drive your tools for you. The point is to see how you make the decision.
Feedback names the checks you ran
Feedback refers to your checks, final work and stated reasoning.
The debrief is something you can reuse
The session ends with concrete practices you can use on your next piece of work.
